What's new
v3.0.0The latest improvements to Content Health Check and a sneak peek at what's coming next.
Automatic monitoring, and pricing you build yourself
v3.0.026 June 2026
- Your watchlist can now re-check itself every month, automatically. Content health stays current without you remembering to re-run anything, and a new trend chart shows how each page's score moves over time.
- Re-analyse just the pages you've changed. Pick a single page, or a handful, straight from your watchlist instead of re-running the whole set.
- Build-your-own pricing: choose exactly how many pages you want to monitor and watch the price update as you go, with two months free when you pay yearly.
- More accurate scores for listing and landing pages, which are no longer marked down for lacking depth.
- Smarter handling of links: scoring now reads each link's wording and tells your own pages apart from outbound ones, so onward journeys and calls-to-action are credited properly, and the Metrics panel counts links accurately instead of undercounting them.
Page improvement briefs
v2.12.019 June 2026
- Export any page's analysis as a ready-to-use improvement brief: a single file laying out the page's scores, a strategic summary, and each criterion's specific fixes. This is a ready-to-use improvement plan that can be handed to an editor or an AI agent to make the changes.
- The brief is plain Markdown, so it can be read equally by humans and robots. Email it to an editor or drop it straight into an AI chat/tool.
Key findings for every page
v2.11.018 June 2026
- Every analysed page now has a Key findings summary: a short, strategic read of what the page does well and the one or two changes that would make the biggest difference, so you can see what to do without working through all 15 criteria.
- Export a whole audit in a single file. The CSV download now includes every page at once, not just the page you happen to be viewing.
- Choose how much detail you export: a lean Editor summary (one consolidated paragraph per page, ideal for dropping into a content plan or Notion) or the Full detail with every criterion's analysis and suggestion.
- Fairer page scores: criteria that don't apply to a page (like on-brand or strategic, when you haven't set those up) no longer show as a misleading one star.
A report that tells you what to fix first
v2.10.017 June 2026
- A new Report function reads all your analysed content as a whole and tells you what to improve first: a ranked set of the biggest opportunities, each with a clear action to take and the pattern behind it across your content.
- It leads with what's working well, and – if you've set a content strategy – gives you a straight answer on whether your content is achieving it, a view no single page score can offer.
- Every opportunity links straight to the pages it covers, so you can go from the big picture to the exact pages to change in one click.
- The report stays current on its own: it refreshes after a batch of analyses or you can choose to regenerate it yourself at any time.
We grade against more of the framework
v2.9.017 June 2026
- Additional components of the Content Health Framework are now used to assess your content against. Your feedback should be richer and more specific as a result.
- Filter your individual results by property (domain or subdomain), so you can focus on one part of a multi-site estate at a time, in the table and the CSV export.
Advice that fits how you work
v2.8.017 June 2026
- A new setting lets you tell us how you prefer to move readers onward (onward journeys, a sign-up funnel, or a direct enquiry), and suggestions follow your lead.
- Evergreen work like case studies and foundational guides is no longer marked down just for being a few years old: we now judge whether it's still accurate, not just its date.
- Sitemaps, feeds and files are no longer scored as if they were pages, keeping your results focused on real content.
Fairer scores that fit each page
v2.7.016 June 2026
- Pages are no longer marked down for things that don't apply to them: judging a contact page on how shareable it is, or a privacy policy on how persuasive it is, no longer drags your score down.
- When a criterion doesn't fit a page, it now shows as "Not applicable" instead of a low score, so your overall health score and charts reflect genuine issues rather than false ones.
See real results before you sign up
v2.6.010 June 2026
- See exactly what you'll get before you sign up: the footer now links to real example results, a genuine Content Health Check of our own site, charts and all.
- A new Terms of Service page and clearer company details, so you know exactly who you're dealing with.
- Accessibility improvements, including restored pinch-to-zoom on phones, plus clearer, more consistent wording and sign-in links throughout.
New guides, and a site built to be found
v2.5.15 June 2026
- Three new plain-English guides: what a content health check is, why quality matters more than traffic, and why a recurring check beats a one-off audit.
- Our public pages and guides are now readable by search engines and AI assistants without running any code, so more people can find, quote and cite our content.
- Shared links now show a proper branded preview image on social media and in chat.
An inventory that keeps up with your site
v2.2.02 June 2026
- Your inventory now spots pages that have been removed from your site and flags them as Removed or Unlinked.
- A new Last analysed column shows when each page was last scored, and a filter helps you find pages you've previously analysed but aren't now tracking.
- Make the inventory your own: choose which columns you see, cleaner and tidier URLs and a section filter that only lists sections that actually have pages.
Sharper results filtering
v2.1.12 June 2026
- The Results section filter now lists only the sections you're actively tracking, so choosing one always shows pages instead of an empty list.
Smoother results and billing
v2.1.02 June 2026
- Jump straight from a Watchlist score to that page's full analysis in one click.
- Find your way around results more easily with breadcrumbs back to your section overview and page list.
- Improved Results filters with sections, which are detected more accurately so your content groups make sense.
- A cleaner Billing page where you can update your payment details and view past invoices.
- Your Watchlist keeps the latest analysis run in view and refreshes its stats automatically when a run finishes.
Digital estate discovery
v2.0.01 June 2026
- Map your entire digital estate: point Content Health Check at a domain and it discovers every page, then auto-filters the noise so you are left with a clean inventory of real content.
- Browse, filter and search your full URL inventory, and promote the pages that matter into a Watchlist for ongoing monitoring.
- Add URLs by hand when a site can't be crawled, or remove duplicates and pages you don't want to track.
- A cleaner, redesigned journey organised around four clear areas: Estate, Inventory, Watchlist and Results.
- Faster, more reliable service following a move to new hosting infrastructure.
Faster, steadier analysis
10 February 2026
- Rebuilt the analysis queue for smoother, more accurate live progress when analysing many pages at once.
- Bulk analysis to massively speed up larger analyses, with clearer handling of pages that fail to load.
- Upgraded to latest Claude models, improving accuracy and consistency of content quality scoring.
